Zhao Lusi’s Journey: From Chengdu to C-Drama Stardom

Zhao Lusi was born on November 9, 1998 in Chengdu, Sichuan. She studied at MingDao University. She started in the entertainment industry in 2016 by hosting a variety show.

In 2017, she had small roles in the web drama Cinderella Chef and the film City of Rock. Her rise began in 2018. She starred in Untouchable Lovers and Oh! My Emperor. The latter gave her wide recognition and a newcomer award.

In 2020, Zhao's role in The Romance of Tiger and Rose became a hit. She won Best Leading Actress at the Wenrong Awards.

In the years that followed, she starred in major dramas: The Long Ballad (2021), Who Rules The World and Love Like the Galaxy (2022), Hidden Love (2023), and The Story of Pearl Girl (2024).
